My 2 cents...
Kraken is a very good choice if you don't need much versatility...

And if you looking for a really versatile amp I think you definitely need to check this one!

Soldano HR25 if you want the ability to gig or sound great at low volume.

Best ones I've played are LBX and PT20. They sound and "feel" like they're packing more power.

Check out Victory...Govan was using one when I saw him and it was bad ass

If you're a fan of the Ecstasy, the Atma will not let you down.

Recently played the mini Dirty Shirley. Another awesome amp.

I love my Marshall Mini Silver Jubilee with the matching 2x12 vertical cabinet. There are better sounding amps out there by themselves, but it sounds damn good at gigs as it cuts through a mix real well. I'm real happy with it.

The Splawn SS is a great amp, but there are cheaper mini heads out there.

The 5150 lunchbox is a mean sounding amp! I was impressed with it.

From the comments the 6205 sounds like it may be the best bang for your buck mini. The Jet City is too, as you can find them used for around $200. I had one and I sold it when I got the Jube. Its a great amp that comes with bad tubes. I changed the preamp tubes and it sounded much better.

My 5150 III 50 watt head has become my main amp. I set the channel 1/2 gain on 4 and I'm good (with humbuckers). I have not played a lunchbox 2 version but, have played the original lunchbox version and it looks cute but, c'mon... The 50 watter blows it away in tone! Clean, crunch and CRUNCH... It's all in there with this easy to carry light weight 3 channel amp.
