Nice and cleanJust rearranged things.
I got the Suhr set up full volume. MV low thru the Power Station. I hit this with an SD1.
The PRS is set clean. I use a Suhr Eclipse on this. This goes thru a Power Station as well.

How was LPNot jamming tonight. Wife and I drove up to Nashville to see Linkin Park last night, sit in the hotel pool all day drinking today and then Broadway tonight. Listened to some good bands stopping in and out of a few places. Great to see some people playing with rack gear and real amps. But we called it an early night about 11. Good times though, so many bands rocking out classic rock and country.
Holy shit that’s got to have a sweet grind1959HW / Bogner JB45 blended. View attachment 413247View attachment 413246

Sounds great indeed. I go back and forth as far as using two amps blended and just one amp depending on what I am playing. It is pretty addicting wall of sound for sure but sometimes a single amp works better for me. One thing I find is that with two amps is it introduces a bit more noise and also some amps sound weird together. For example If I switch to the clean channel on the JB45 it sounds really weird blending with the Plexi which ironically has loads of gain and compression when running wound up with the Powerstation. But when I use the gainier channels on the JB, it blends perfectly. If I run the plexi cleanish and use pedals for gain, it is the opposite. Same thing when I had Friedmans. Be channel on DLX and PLexi channel on JEL did not work together. Seems the tone of each amp needs to be similar in terms of compression or they dont blend well at all. The Snorkler on either channel seems to blend really well with the PLexi/powerstation. I can only imagine what the Larry/Hermansson sounds like. What do you use as as an ABY? Do you run them W/D or do use stereo fx. I go back and forth with that to, but most often Plexi dry and whatever other amp I blend in wet. I really like using the wah into one amp only to retain more thickness and chunk to the sound while still getting the wah effect. Fun stuff for sure!Holy shit that’s got to have a sweet grind
You blend as well . See I can’t just use one amp like if it’s my real tone . Or like tonight it’s Friday so I fired up my Larry PMM blended with my Hermanson Recto
Man it was heaven .
Tonight i was jamming on the JP2C with my Esp black Mx, and then jammed on my iic++ reissue for a while. Tonight was the first night all week i really got to jam, my work hours was long this week and ive been too tired to jam most nights.
You’re almost certainly running into phase issues when one particular channel doesn’t blend with the second amp. When running two amps together, adding or removing a single gain stage on one of the amps (as often occurs when switching to a cleaner or dirtier channel or mode) flips the phase 180 degrees so you need an A + B splitter device with a phase reversal feature.Sounds great indeed. They put on a great show, sounded good, lasers, smoke and catchy tunes people can sing to make for a fun high energy show. My wife really likes them and wanted to see them so we booked the trip months ago.How was LP
That’s always great contemplation timeI'm picking an Edwards LP unplugged on the couch tonight.
Thanks. I use Radial Twin City ABY and that has that feature, but I think is more just that the tones don't blend, but I will try the phase reversal switch again.
