Ernie Ball has Cobalt's and M-Steel's. They're supposed to be the bomb. Anyone try them?

Cobalts 11 - 48. I think I like them better than the regular Ernie Balls (never A/B'd in real time). Never tried M Steel - and I think they have even another gimmicky set out now as well. Not to say they don't sound good.

GHS Burnished Nickel Rocker .009s
Optima Gold 2028 EL .009s

Always used EB 9-42's , recently bought 10 sets of SIT 9-42's . Have not tried the SIT's yet .

I use Elixr nanowebs 9-42 in 25.5 scale and 10-46 in 24.75 scale.

EB Cobalts 10-46 Love them. Expensive but they are my favorite. I use them on my gigging guitars. On other guitars I use regular EB 10-46.

What do you find different between them? I use the Cobalts, but have never been able to compare them to the regular EBs in real time.

Elixir Optiwebs, 11-49. I was a user of the Nanowebs for a long time so I had to try Elixir's new offering. The Optiwebs are really, really good.

The Colbalts have this almost already broke in quality to them right out of the pack. They don't seem as slippery. The regular EB's are very slippery to me up on the higher strings and frets. Also the Cobalt's seem to stay fresher longer than the regular EB's.

I also like Elixir Nanowebs best of everything I've tried

NYXLs. Not sold on the tone, but they stay in tune better than any thing Ive ever used, and last awhile.

Wow. Results are all over the place. SIT Strings.. LOL. I forgot about those.. My 1st guitar teacher used those waay back in the day.

'Never tried any coated strings.

GHS boomer 9’s. They are cheap, sound great and last a long time. I usually get them for like $4 a pack.

DR Pure Blues Pure Nickel Round Core 10 - 46.

Of course I will be trying Curt Mangan version

I am using the EBMM Paradigm strings 9-46 and 10-46. They are fantastic and are working great for me.

Elixir Nanowebs for me. Celiac disease basically turns my sweat into battery acid. On electrics, depending on the guitar, 10-46, 10-49, 10-52, or 11-49
