I have money to spend, so I figured I'd let RT help me spend it. Here is what I currently have:

Amps:
Modded Marshall JCM800 2204
Peavey 5150
Mesa/Boogie Mark III
Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier Rackmount Version

Guitars:
Ibanez RG1527
Ibanez RG550
Fender American Floyd Rose Classic Stratocaster
Caparison TAT
Caparison Horus Scarab
ESP M-II Maple Fretboard Version

Should I get a guitar or amp? If I get an amp, it'll most likely be an Engl Savage 120 or a Fender 5150 III. As far as guitars go, I'm not entirely sure. I'm not a huge fan of hardtails, so I'd most likely be looking for something with a floyd. However, I might have to look towards a Gibson as it seems to be the biggest thing I'm missing at the moment.

equipment to make a w/d/w rig? I know you had that stuff, do you still have that stuff?

I vote for 90s monster rack with Roland, Eventide, and TC :)

I sold the Axe-Fx Ultra because it was too much tweaking for me. I'd go insane trying to program those Eventide machines. I'm most likely going to pick up a G-Major 2 for all my effects stuff. I found out I'm not that picky on effects quality that it has to be "that" sound. As long as it sounds good, it'll work for me.

unless you cannot have the lag I would go with the LExicon MPX-1, IMO better delays and the verb is much much better.

Come on man, if you have thought of ccie an eventide won't be that back   :D

When I deal with guitar stuff, I immediately go into retard mode.  The MPX-1 doesn't have intelligent pitch shifting, does it? I'd really like to have 1 rack unit that did everything with an easy to program interface. When I get a better income, I'll probably look into more expensive rack units.

Yes it does and used they are less than the GM2

Yes the manual is 128 pages though, just looked at mine

Nice. I'll check it out. Now answer my original question! :D

Ok, get rid of one of the superstrats and get an LP type guitar.

Take the money you already have and get 90s w/d/w rack :D

I think you have more than enough of each. Get a 5150 III or a Soldano just so you can tell me how it is. :D

  nbarts actually has a real badass Horizon that I've been eyeballing for awhile now. It also has mahogany wings, which makes it even more enticing...

We seem to have pretty similar tastes. I think you would love the 5150III (I think everyone who is into rock/metal needs one :D ). However, i agree with one of the previous posters who suggested a EBMM guitar. I think you would love a JP6 BFR. If you like an Ibanez type neck than you will love it. Very well built with amazing tone and sustain. It also has a very comfortable and great sounding unique floating bridge.

Definitely get one of these (or both  ), you can't go wrong.
