Ampeg VH140C. Don't have the first one but,I still have one.

Peavey Transtube supreme SS head, Peavey 412M cabinet.

It was okay for what it was, not bad for metal. I don't miss the amp or the cab at all.

My first Valve amp was a JCM 800 2205 that I brought second hand. I paid it off weekly and I still remember the day they let me take it home, I think it took me 4 months to pay for it., I wish I still had it, that had mojo that amp.

My first ever ever amp, was an old Peavey Rage.

First amp(s)-bought within a week of each other. Marshall 4212 Jcm800 combo and Artist 30 head. Kept them both for years. That little Artist head was a cool little amp. Solid state preamp, tube power section. 4212 was lower gain but I used mostly for the speakers for the Artist head. Still kinda wish I had them both.

well...my first "real" amp...and by real you mean tube I guess was a Krank Rev. Jr.

I hated it. Before the Krank I had a Line 6 Duoverb. Great modeling amp for the money. Got it for $400 brand new when musiciansfriend was trying to get rid of them. After the Krank...

Then I got a Blues Jr. (awesome amp for what it does...blues haha)
Then a Peavey 6505+
Then a Mesa Triple Rectifier
and now my Framus Cobra

I have enjoyed every amp but the Krank Rev. Jr.

sunn sl160 was my first real amp. still have it. . . . in peices :cy:

A Fender "The Twin". I loved it, had a pretty good gain channel as I recall.

First real amp was a TSL60 with a 1960ax cab. Loved the amp (and coming from a Valvestate combo, that's no real suprise). Had it for a few years then offed it for a JCM800 2204 which I still have. Still have and love the cab though...

Mesa 2ch Dual Rectifier with the 'pointer' style knobs on it...no idea what Rev it was but that amp absolutely killed.

My first real amp was a Marshall AVT. It wasn't bad, killer for a guy who didn't know any better. I went from that to a 900slx, which was disappointing.

Ampeg Gemini II. got it for cheap from a local dive from a bar. didn't have distortion and I hated tremolo at the time. it electrocuted me regularly with its non grounded power cable. I wound up using a distortion pedal into it.

Left it at a friends house from high school and never saw it again until ten years later for sale at a local guitar center for eight times what I paid for it. I knew it was mine because I had put a new handle on it that was a handle for a kitchen cabinet.

Old assed Peavey Mace. It had two channels, Sterile clean, and unusable fuzzy Overdrive. The amp sounded like shit. I still have it, somewhere in a barn behind my house.

First amp was a Carvin solid state 1-12 combo. I liked it till I plugged into a friends Marshall full stack :)

My first 'real' amp was a Peavey 5150 combo... and I miss it, along with the 2 guitars I owned @ the time (an ESP with emgs, and a candy red maple-fingerboard Ibanez RG, both lefties) terribly.

I wouldn't trade my current gear for that, but it does make me sad thinking back to having to sell that stuff back then.
