Kidding, of course... And honestly couldn't say. Lurked a bunch on others, they sucked, here there was no suck, I stay.

Good luck!

All have their share of drama but...

The Gear Page

Les Paul Forum

Huge Racks

I've been frequenting sevenstring.org recently. A lot younger crowd though. I enjoy the Luthiery/Customizing sub-forum and seeing custom builds in progress. Some cool luthiers who do custom runs on there too.

Boogie board is good but low traffic.

This board has very knowledgable people, skilled players, and many gear builders.

Best place is right here.

I like sevenstring a lot, huge traffic, however there are ALOT of younger people/inexperienced players over there who spew false info, that often needs to be corrected.

This board is about the best, IMO... TGP is great but not really a metal/rock crowd, HC is full of opinionated asshats, Sevenstring is ran by children, there's metalguitarist.org which is like ss but less traffic and no nazis, I visit TDPRI sometimes but it's a tele place, Gearslutz is great but it's mostly recording although they have started guitar sub forums recently, I browse around HRI occasionally too. There's specialty boards for many amp and guitar brands that are decent too. Just depends on what you're into, I guess.

this board is it. all others either have too low of traffic or like amps with sizzling high. i know that isn't much help.

Harmony-Central Amp Foru.................hahahaha (I'm sorry, I thought I could get through typing that without laughing).:D

Jemsite.com has knowledgeable members but less traffic...

I like the knowledge here but not much in metal discussions. Like I posted about new testament. Couple hits n gone. But we can talk about the same old evh n lynch n fkn 10 millionth modded Marshall out there that pretty much has been covered to death. Now we have the vs. posts reminds me of harmony central. Really fucking gay! Gay threads belong on gay sites. I just expect more from here. Let's talk about how many metal bands are using evh III amp. Eh my 2 cents !

the vs threads .... ack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I visit here and TGP regularly. I go over the plexi palace vintage amps forums from time to time. Depends on what you are looking for.

TGP is great for talking about gear for blues, jazz, rock, P/W, and country. Not so much for talking about amps for Hard Rock/Metal.

Im here the most but Like going to HCAF,TGP and Huge Racks Inc... Its practically the same everywhere but you stumble across cool stuff more than not..

This forum is the best, except for the 80's fascination.

People will continue to be fascinated with the 80's until something better takes its place. 1965 - 1994 was a magical period for music.
