I don't think any of us posting about the OPs NAD are whining babies. We did come here and congraduate him on an EPIC purchase and even though I couldn't afford to do this "IF" I ever had the chance...I did not come in here and be disrespectful trashing his thread. It would be nice to come in and check out the conversations about the amps and to see other forum members appreciating his great day without reading you negative remarks, but Im sure you will keep posting crap in here because that seems to be just who you are. I haven't seen anyone come in here and jump to your defense. I would ask you nicely to please refrain from posting anymore crap that no one wants to read in this topic but I know you will just come back at me and others. Sad!

I asked it before, although in some way rhetorically, are congratulations all that is permitted in NGD threads? I find that pretty boring, but I guess some of you guys can't take anything else. I disagree that I thrashed this thread or that I've been disrespectful. I disagree that it "seems to be who I am", again please provide other examples from older threads to back that perception you have. I've said from the start you guys are making this a big thing out of nothing. You keep commenting, I'll keep replying, simple as that. You want to talk about the guy's amps, which I'm pretty convinced are all individually awesome, then you do that.

The Fortin sounds coolest to me, but I like that lower mid sound rather than the typical upper mid sound on a lot of Marshall/mods.

Also - Why do people remove prices from their threads when they sell stuff? This really ticks me off, cause it makes pricing rarer things nearly impossible. I know you want to protect your investment and stuff, especially in this case, where I assume the amps were sold well under market value, but it makes buying and selling these things hard to know when there's a decent deal, if the only used price you can find is from like 5 years ago

I miss that Fortin X-Amp! lowmantotempole emailed me recently to ask a few questions about the Fortin amp ... and he mentioned he'd be posting some clips on Rig Talk. Enjoyed hearing the amp clips, and looks forward to more clips of all the amps.

The Fortin X-Amp felt great to play ... had more sag to it then the official Fortin line like the Bones and Meathead. (which were faster and even tighter than the X-Amp) When Mike was talking about starting an amp company he asked me to find an old JCM 800 with the original Drake transformer. He totally ripped the amp apart, but kept the Drake transformer. According to Mike, the transformer is the heart of the amp, and will have a great influence on the tone.

Wanted to share a clip of me playing the X-Amp at a gig. I always liked the lead tone I could get out of it, and the amp sounded great in the room on this night.
