DAMN!! Congrats!! Are they all stock?

Maybe they are the 6 modded Marshalls I think it was member phoenix had for sale, they all had to be bought together as a package deal. But he did say they are new Marshalls

Either way congrats on the bunch of Marshalls!

You guessed it! I couldn't let this great deal pass me by!

Nice man. Good move.....

Is there a link to the ad so I can read what amps you got? Freaking awesome score.

***SOLD***

*IMPORTANT* Individual prices added, as per forum rules. I'd prefer to sell these amps as a package deal, so I'm pricing them together as a group at far less than the individual prices. If you'd like one of them individually, let me know. Only interested in a couple of things for potential trade, including "special" Suhr guitars like Exotics, Collections, etc. and potentially original visionary art.

OK, this is a rare chance to get yourself a killer set of Marshalls, collected over years, at a great price. We’ve got six amps here, and I’m selling them as a set, for $**** plus shipping and fees. That’s less than $**** per amp, for amps that are probably worth in the neighborhood of $**** each. I don’t want to hassle with separating them, so I’m offering a great deal to someone who wants to either get a great collection of amps to keep, or someone who wants to make some money separating them (after cherry picking the best for themselves, of course!).

1) 1976 Friedman Kitchen Sink 100w. New tolex. This was my first epic Marshall. I brought it to Dave Friedman to look over when I got it, and he told me that in addition to the KS mod, which includeds both the high and low gain brown eye mods, it also has a “permanent” saturation mod. In other words, it has been maxed. It’s basically impossible to get a bad tone from this amp. I’d put it against any world-class modern amp in terms of bad-ass grind, lynch “quack” tone, and so forth. Speaking of George, he walked into Rack Systems while I was there with this amp, which was kind of surreal and cool. $****

2) 1971 Friedman APC 100w + effects loop + simple clean channel mods - all by Dave. Great condition. This is an amp that I had Dave do on an original ’71 100w head. It’s a monster, and obviously rare to find this amp modded to these specs. Between this and the KS mentioned above, I like the KS - so this one really didn't get much use. It's basically a brand new modded amp with a handful of hours on it. $****

3) 1979 Mike Morin 100w + effects loop. Had this one in the closet for years now, and frankly I don’t remember how it sounds. It’s the “mystery amp” of the collection. $****

4) 1983 “Early” Mark Cameron 100w custom mod + effects loop. Mod possibly done in the 90s, before Mark was famous. I’ve never seen one quite like this. 2 channel, tone shape control on the back. Probably my favorite amp of this group in rhythm tone, although it does have one thing worth mentioning: If you plug straight in, the bass is a little flubby. I fix this by putting an EQ in front, and doing the classic “Eddie Van Halen Frown Curve” - which makes this amp into a fire-breathing monster. Once tuned with the EQ as described, this amp delivers a sort of modern Djent-Metal (could we call it “Djentle”...?) tone that is bone crushing. It has a unique dark rhythm tone that might be my favorite of all time. It’s a really special, versatile amp with a rare added 2nd clean channel. $****

5) 1989 Mike Fortin custom build for Carl Roa. Comes with a footswitch that looks like it launches rockets. Totally custom, completely unique, essentially a re-build with custom board, etc. I find that adding an EQ in front, as described in the Cameron description above, also makes this amp tighten up into something totally unique and completely mind-blowing. It’s a sort-of famous amp, and there will probably never be another one quite like it. $****

6) 1967 or 1968 Marshall Super Tremolo. This amp is basically original. Trem doesn't work (typical). As I recall: Bias control added inside, ground switch outside, and possibly one or two other small things that I can’t remember... but it’s essentially original, with most original components, including the mustards. Not sure if panels are stock. But the key is the tone, and this amp is exactly what you’d expect it to be. Plugged into a hotplate, it will fill your mind with grind! $****

These are the best amps that are left after years of collecting, and already getting rid of many. So why am I selling these obviously amazing amps? Because I also own the original hand-built prototype Cameron CCV head (the famous one in his original NAMM video from 2008), plus another CCV from the pre-production, hand-built run. To me, these two amps are everything I need, and so it’s time to move the rest of my collection to someone who will appreciate them.

No gut shots, no videos or clips. The amps that have back panels come with back panels - the ones that don’t... don’t. Everything is “as-is” - but I guarantee that all of them work, and all of them are what I’m representing them to be. I have a great reputation selling online, and I stand behind everything that I sell. If it's not the way I described it, and you want your money back, you can have a refund.

Why am I selling them all together, instead of wanting to part them out? Because I don’t have time right now to deal with a lot of questions, taking a bunch of different payments, and organizing shipping x6.

Conditions are simple: If you want all of them, I need to get a net of $**** in cash (you cover fees, or you can send me a wire or a check), plus shipping and insurance (which will be done at a shipping store). 100% guarantee that these amps are as described. Professional references if you need them (I can have you deal directly with my accountant's office, who has been handling my finances for 10 years, and is highly reputable).

Am I the only one who thinks this is some funny ass shit?
Why do you think its funny?

Who the hell needs 6 amps that will sound 90% identical to each other?
To sell them back and make a profit? Anybody with 10K$ to invest can make a lot more money with a lot less hassle elsewhere

Hey more power (haha pun intended) to him. If he sells them or not, he got to try them and if he made a good deal, weather he makes a profit or not is not anyones concern but his. If he sells any of them I am sure someone will buy.

Funny --- not really. Epic buy---Win

Wow, somebody isn't familiar with their modded Marshalls... They don't sound 90% identical to each other. I've only spent a few hours with them, just to make sure they all functioned an found they are very very different. Only exceptions would be the Friedman amps (APC, Kitchen Sink) which are similar but still different enough to warrant owning each.

Thanks for stopping by and adding your 2 cents...

Who said anything about me attempting to make a profit? I happen to be friends with a local professional studio owner that is interested in these as well to add a few to the studio's collection.

Have had Friedman, Bray, Cameron and stock Marshalls, they all sound like Marshalls
Makes more sense if you can unload some to a studio

I can post pics of 6 different amps I'd rather own (and do in fact own) instead of 6 Marshalls
Then we'll see how green your reply will get ;)

Business, I see a definite trend in your posts....way to rain on someone parade. Who gives a F what you think anyway? Tired of reading your crap. Give it a rest already!

Care to elaborate on that trend?
Should you give a fuck about what anyone thinks on an internet forum anyway?
