Everyone should qualify because every one paid the tariffs. As the libertarians said the tariffs were basically just an income tax. Since we already paid it Id rather it go toward the deficit although it's a drop in the bucket. This just seems like buying votes for the future as the economy starts to cave

but more demand will drive up share prices. I've seen it happen when some social media dipshit posted about it.

that said, much of my investment is in private equity; but $2K is useless for that, so it's more dividend income ETFs.

it's been a wild ride...my best income ETF performer is returning over 82% YTD in 2025 as of last week... but nearly went insolvent more than once, and it's not out of the danger zone yet.
