What's the worst "professionally" done demo you've seen.

I was thinking "This demo isn't that bad" and then he started playing... NONONONO

TONE SO BAD
 
Hmmmm...

How about some of those Premier Guitar demos? Most of those are pretty painful.
 
I always get a kick out of the Sweetwater videos where they have that old dude demoing metal gear and he plays the blues or some shit with a single coil guitar or something with p90s haha
 
Ugh....my demo while with Egnater when Premier Guitar shows unannounced and there is no one to play but me. Horrible embarrassing and painful!
 
Anything with Paul Riario (Guitar World) dude can play but man....it's always something like

"Hi, this is Paul...today I'm playing the uber pointy 7 string tuned to drop Z, and the 666 watt 3 channel tube amp, the MetalMaster Dicksmasher. Here's some blues."

Also, pretty much ALL of the Mesa demos I've ever seen fuckin suck.

Definitely some good responses...However I still think I got this one by a MILE. If you haven't watched the first video posted skip to 3:15. I guess I should have pointed out I was going more for worst sounding "professional" demo. I think it's funniest and worst sounding thing I've heard. It's hard to believe MXR didn't pull the video. I'm sure it can't be that bad but it almost makes you wonder if they ran the pedal directly into a eurodesk instead of an amp.

I really don't know what's wrong in there, he can clearly play, really don't understand how it is possible every single demo he is in sounds so bad, like really really bad and turns me off all the time on the gear I am looking at.

Different story with EytschPi42 , again he can play (I mean, he's not a disaster) and the tones he gets are not bad, it's just his attitude to be really annoying for some reason I can't really pin point.
 
Anything Rob Chappers ever did. He should try demo'ing a TUNER once in a while. Nomatter what he plugs into he gets shit tones. :thumbsdown:
