I hated that place. Everyone talked about how great the Fractal Forum was, but I found it to be ridiculous. If you wasn't a bat shit crazy fan boy, you were an outsider and this drew the ire of some posters. It appeared to me that people were afraid to post anything to try and help out. I got 10x more help through PMs than I got out in the forum. The people were great, the top tier of the hierarchy is a fucking joke....and it starts at the top.

THIS is VERY TRUE!!!! Of the camaraderie I've garnered over there, it's ALL been through cloak and dagger PMs. WTF!?!?!?!?!?

Crazy. I mean, c'mon, most people know me here as a fairly straight up, no bullshit kinda guy - with a little bit of musical and equipment background (ahem). Hell I get over there and the next thing I know is I have the troops yelling at me about wiki this and yeks that and use the search function blah blah blah. Chrissakes people, you're the VERY KIND OF PEOPLE THAT MADE ME START PLAYING ANTI-ESTABLISHMENT ROCK AND ROLL IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!! And for the love of pete, I throw down when it comes to good gear - didn't bat an eye in buying the Ultra, won't bat an eye in buying the Wedges. Tom King was a great shit to talk to, super nice. But over there, it's like Kim Jong Il is the head of the forum and everyone just "obeys".

Nevertheless, I've poked a few good jabs over there just to loosen 'em up. I'm sure my 'secret alliances' will PM by the morning... Crazy.

I figured a new version would be in the works, just didn't expect it this year at all. Glad I waited in buying one, its easier to wait when you don't have the money.

Hopefully I will be able to pick up an Axe-Fx II in the future.

My favorite Axe-Fx thread was when someone compared the Axe-Fx to the POD, boy did they get reamed. It was entertaining

Well I saw this comparison video, and some of the Line 6 HD sounds were a tad better in my opinion... But that could just be the recording.
