trying to distract myself from my normal amp flipping and so I thought I'd try to find some good boost pedals to try out and play around with.....

which ones are your favorites and why?

I love the Suhr Koko boost.. especially the midboost feature for playing leads..that set at around 9-10 o'clock with freq far left is incredible.. nice warmth, cutting, and great sustain. Never used the boost function cuz loved the midboost so much.. also a great buffer in a chain or true bypass..no complaints here

Creation Audio Labs Mk 4.23 is also an amazing and 'very' transparent clean boost. Looks killer, great sweep on amount of boost you want...and gets loud! Put this in loop after preamp and it is really nice for adding volume for lead work, etc. No tone coloring or gain added whatsoever.. just more volume of the tone that your amp is already giving..and also a good buffer pedal. Cheerz bro

I'll probably get shunned for this but-Klon Centaur, hands down.

Seriously though, for a nice transparent clean boost, you can't go wrong with Jerry's "more."

I have an hbe power screamer w/fat boost on the way. heard some clips that sounded good from a guy with a similar set up to mine.

Kindda too late now, but got to thinking the right pedal might have made the CCV a keeper for you?

Fulltone GT-500 boost side is my go to pedal, good with most any amp, with great feel and low noise. Many of the Fulltone pedals can run on 9, 12, or 18 volt, which adds even more flavors to an allready great pedal.

My other pedals are a Timmy and an EP booster. Timmy is good with mid or high mid amps, and IMHO not for every amp, but a cool quality pedal. EP booster is a sweet pedal, and will juice up an amp that is short on gain, also doesn't cut the lowend so it will thump.

THe main one I'm using now is a Green Rhino. The best Tubescreamer variant. So fun to use and with lots of eq control.
I also like my Visual Sound Route 808.

If you are running a few amps, then you need at least 2 boosts, so think about that. Something smooth and open sounding and another one that's compressed and aggressive.

I also have these boosts that work well on different amps.
Boss SD-1
Boss OD-3
Dano TOD V1
Dano CO-1 V1
OCD V4
Hardwire CM-2

Keeley modded Sparkle Drive but I really want to try a KoKo boost

Koko boost and Tonefreaks' Naked. The Naked is a mid gain pedal by itself, but adds some nice hair to an already driven amp and best of all it does not change the character of the amp it just adds more sizzle in a very good way. It can also be used as a clean boost. So many applications with the pedal.

Then we will both be shunned, def agree with the Klon,,I also like the RC Booster and also agree with the Timmy, also agree it works best with certain amps, with the amps he has listed I think it will work great.

Oh No He Didn't!!!  Where is the can o' worms smiley??

Krankshaft.

You can find 'em cheap, built like a tank, top notch components, best TS pedal I've ever had! Only drawback is that the LED will blind you on a dark stage!!!

Just finished soundcheck, that was grueling... 2hrs! We go on at 8, they want us physically in the building by 7... I got 45 mins. to get a drink or whatever, and here I am on R-T... lolollll :D

I'll be using it for the VH4 & Recto.... :D

I have:

HBE Doomsday Device
Digitech Bad Monkey
Gutierrez Bad Motherfucker (TCE Integrated Preamp clone)

Bodenhamer Bloody Murder for a screamer type.
Baja Boost for a clean/rangemaster style.
