Whats better for dirty channel in stereo... the Stryman Ola or the Modfactor?

Been through a lot of boutique pedals.
CE-5 works best for me with cleans and gain.

My old black label Japanese Boss CE-2 died and started making weird noises. Replaced it with a MXR ZW38 Black Label Chorus - the Zakk Wylde one.

It is an analog Boss CE-5 as far as I know. Not compared schematics, but it sounds good and works for me.
It isn't true bypass, but I can't say I am bothered about that.

The MXR Analog Chorus that came out after is exactly the same as the Zakk Chorus aside from the paint job - MXR themselves have/will confirm this.

For a budget selection try the Hardwire CR-7 Stereo Chorus. It has both mono and stereo capability and seven different modes to choose from. I just recently got one and think for the money they sound really good.

Tortuga Martini bar none.

YEP , I'm with you . . Just got one a few weeks ago , have used it at 2 gigs and 2 practices so far and it's perfect for what I need. . I also got a Providence Analog Chorus at the same time to compare the 2 , and although the Providence is another I'd 100% recommend over all the 'usual suspects' , the Tortuga works for my band situation the best

This is the chorus I have settled on. Its great. Super versatile and compact!! I had the vintage micro and it was cool but not
too cool. Ya know? Do yourself a favor and get Wylde!!

The new blue MXR analog chorus is awesome! I like it much more than the Micro.

not sure if it's true bypass, but the marshall supervibe does a great job for me.

There was a big old yellow MXR chorus on CL recently. This is the same one the guy from the Fixx has used forever. Was around $80. The new stereo MXR chorus pedals are not bad price/space/sound wise.

I've got a CE-5 and don't really care for what it does to the sound overall, but it is a versatile pedal.

see quite a few boards with the Arion mentioned earlier. I havent played one myself but I see alot of them on pedalboard pics.

Boss HR-2 Harmonist on the detune setting. Absolutely glorious! Nothing touches it for chorus, I love it.

I have a visual sound h2o v2 delay / chorus excellent cond. always racked. Anyone wanna trade me for a mxr zakk chorus or the blue analog chorus. They r the same pedal.

its absolutely horrible at polyphonic chords though, its definitely not a strymon or eventide

BBE Mind Bender. Pitch modulation vibrato pedal with a great, unique chorus feature.

I find a chorus to be a very personal effect, ie lots of variation in opinion as to what sounds good.

I am not a huge chorus user, but the Maxon CS-9pro fits your description. Its true bypass and works well IMO with clean and dirty. Its a bit expensive new, but much more reasonable used. I really like mine. I used to have an Ibanez CS-9 and missed that, the Maxon does those tones plus more. I pretty much set the Maxon and forget it.
