I believe there are amps as good or better than the originals today, Ceriatone, Cameron, Fortin, and others that get that tone people want. Friedman is cool, except crack den Dan somehow owns them on disability money we paid for. My tax dollars should not pay his amps.
A great time to be alive for Modded Marshall tones. I have literally had more than I can remember when doing Guitar shows in the 90s and early 2000s. Not many I have not played or owned. I believe Wizard is the best Marshall styled amps I have played. They have hit the mark 100%. When Ac/Dc uses your amps as the Marshall standard, you have arrived. I. Want to play the Marshall Meshuggah amp. Can't believe it is a 50'watter. The best lead tone I have ever heard from a Marshall is the 72 50 Watt, and Park 75. Rhythm tones, hard to say. Wizard blends the 2 for best in my book.
