I remember when I first heard the first 2 albums it was a combination of AC DC and Queen. It changed quite a bit to the point when Hysteria came out I checked out when they became a Pop band. Anyway, this was some good shit way back!!

Pete Willis the original guitar player wrote most of those songs early on.
They kicked him out of the band,Rick had his wreck,and hello pop band.

Saw them on UNC campus of all places/ basketball auditorium 1980. Those guys were damn impressive especially after just seeing VH 79 tour. Mutt made them a lot money but imo he also stole their fire.

Just kidding, that video really shows why they became such a huge band, they were killing it already back then!

'Comin' Under Fire' was my favorite song but I must admit I liked Rocket off of Hysteria and few others on that album but know absolutely not one song after that album.

I will see them this summer with Crue and Poison. My wife and I plan to Lyft to show and just get drunk out of our minds and just enjoy the tunes for what they are not get overly critical.

Yep, High N Dry and On Through the Night for me. Great stuff...between Leppard and Priest, my first "band" tried to cover a bunch of songs. Without a lead singer. Of course, we were 15 lol....
