Herbert? VH4? Einstein? Schmidt? What is the significance? Peter? Olaf? I have wondered this for awhile but I figured now that I am a Diezel user I would ask.

I believe the Einstein is named after Peter' dog but I could be wrong. The other amps, I don't know.

I'm not sure but I guess that HERBERT is Mr. Diezels father.

That is what I have heard as well.
The others I don't know..but of course, the 4 in VH4 does probably signify the 4 channels on it.

this is right! Einstein is the name form peters dog.
herbert ist also the name from his father.
Schmidt is a german second name from the neighbour and friend of Peter.

I didn`t know what VH4 stands for, too. But it sounded good so I bought it   This amp is always a pleasure to play!!
