Where do you keep your guitars?

The only guitars I keep in cases are a couple of old beaters that I have kept for sentimental reasons. Everything else is on a wall hanger, of which I have 3. If my hangers are full, that means I don't need another guitar so I just sell the one I don't use :)

My main guitar is always on a floor stand, next to my amps, which are on standby from the moment I wake up.

+1 on the Hercules stands. They are awesome!
 
most of them are in cases in a walk-in closet, next to the amp room. along with assorted rack gear and cables. and most of my other collectibles.

there always seems to be at least two of them at my techs house. when he brings one back, another one goes out with him.

one is always out, ready to be beaten.
 
I keep my electrics on a stand (holds 7) in my home office. My acoustics are in their cases. It is climate controled, no windows, and no kids or pets around to disturb them.

Is it better to keep them in their cases or gig bags? I don't think any have nitro finish, will a poly finish discolor?
 
All in their cases but one in my room on a stand.

I rehearse and play live all the time so they stay in their cases mostly so I can grab and go. :thumbsup:

Most of them are in a closet in cases. Here in Earthquake country I don't want my Axes hanging on the wall. One or two my be out in the corner if I'm practicing or recording. One is now in a case under my desk at work.

I'm with Scott in that I would hate to see what would happen to my guitars hanging on the wall during an earthquake. Cases...
 
I keep mine in the cases and one hanging in the living room to grab for youtube jamming.
