Where to buy ash used to build 70's Ibanez "korina" Explorer?

Like the one EVH is famous for using. If I wanted a body built from the same species, where could I buy the body blank for a strat style body today? Or could I use the northern ash or softer southern ash that is easily available and get the same or close enough sound?

The wood Ibanez used to make the EVH type Destroyer bodies wasn't Ash. It's called Sen.

Japanese Sen resembles certain species of American Ash but there is no relation .
