this may be a dumb question but just added a wah pedal to my rig im running 4cm with digitech rp1000 thru my randall rm100 i know about the loop deal that rp1000 has or i thought to run right after my guitar or right out the input of rp1000 where is the best place that it will sound the best thanks

Why not use one of the wahs in the RP1000? They sound great.

Not my experience at all. I suppose that if youre not a wah guy that they might be passable but I dont like them at all

What up Kage? Miss you bro!
This may be a little different than what you're asking but I felt it was noteworthy n general.
I used to put my wah first in my chain (Dunlop DCR-2SR) but last year I did some experimenting with the rig because I was never happy with my wah tone and I've found that for me, my wah HAS to come after my 808 set as a boost which is now first in the signal path.

With wah first into the boost, the Maxon compresses the bandwith of the wah making it extremely narrow sounding and all dynamics are lost. After the boost the wah reacts as it should!

Hey Joel!! long time man, hope all is well!!! Ive always run the wah ahead of everything( especially dirt boxes of any type) and preferred it that way. The issues that you had with the wah first happened to me with wah after dirt... However, Ive been listening to a bunch of different things lately and one guy whose tone that I dig, Philip Sayce, has been running his wah after his Fuzz face for a couple of things and it sounds amazing. I think the trick is lowering the drive and uping the volume but in the end, its really about what works for you and appeals to your ears...

One cool thing that I found and am going to use it in my rig is this thing called a Flip-Fopper. You plug any 2 effects in your chain into it and with one button stomp, you can reverse the order for different tones. Its a very simple yet cool idea and Im going to use it between my fuzz and wah....

Well, I may have spoken out of turn here. I don't own an RP1000, but I do use the wah in my iPB-10. Though the iPB-10 is built on the same basic framework as the RP1000, I do know the iPB-10 has some more/upgraded effects. That might include the wahs.

Woah, the flip flopper sounds awesome. My eyes lit up as soon as you mentioned it!
Now I need to get one.

I think most would agree that what we think we've heard and what's reality are usually two different things. By the time you unplug and rearrange the order most of our memories are skewed, especially when trying to justify a new toy we want to love..
