Love the old school Jackson - but absolutely could not make peace with a bridge single coil or a Kahler Trem. I ‘could’ swap Duncan ‘little’ 59s, 78s, or Screamin’ Demons in there … but that Kahler is a non-starter for me.

I would like to try a kahler. Never have and really am not in love with the floyd; I am more of a fixed guy. Didnt' notice the single coils. I just have always hated fender guitars...And Love Jacksons.

Went with the Strat

The Jackson is too 80s, and I don't get on with OFR or full float trems - AT all. If it was more an ESP Page Hamilton, maybe.
I can't play my way out of a paper bag with any bolt-on neck guitar but went with the Strat as it just looks like it "feels better" as a player.
