My definite favorites are the authentic German made Floyd Rose and the Gotoh Floyd. Which do you guys prefer and why?

I have a Kahler Floyd on my Anderson,i'd have to say it's the best so far,i have a Gotoh on my RR-1 seems to be just as good i reckon. The only problem i've ever had with them is the nylon bushing wearing out and the trem bar being loose.

i like a gotoh with a floyd rose conversion bar.

i like the floyd rose originals made in germany as well - they are growing on me.

I like the Floyd Rose originals from the 80's. The new ones don't hold a candle to 'em.

Schaller... I only wish they'd make a 7-string model.

German made Floyd Rose with a 42mm brass block on it

german real floyds.. best there is.. looks the best, works the best, Floyd got it right.

Original Floyd for me. Took the Gotohs off my Music Mans as well.

OFR with a FloydUpgrades brass block on it.

Ive owned most of em..The german one for gets my vote!

Ibanez Lo Pro 7. The tuning stability is unparalleled, even when I go Vai on it.

None is the one I like best. They can be used to get some interesting effects .... but most people just make useless noises with them.

Not into the floating Floyds at all. I block it if it's free floating.
I like the ones in the Peavey Wolfgang that rest on the body. It has a brass block and the D-tuna (which I use a lot)

OFR is my favorite, but I'm not terribly picky. As long as it stays in tune and isn't made out of pot metal, I'll be fine with it.

i've been playing for 30yrs and i just got my first floyd, it's licensed from ibanez. the string load from the rear and not with the blocks. so still have too get used too floating bridges. :D

The Peavey licensed ones on my Wolfgang USA's seem to be the best quality ones I've ever had.

I like an OFR but I got to say the Ibanez Lo-Pro takes the prize.

I like the Schaller that I put on my Charvel San Dimas quite a bit, but since it is currently my only operational guitar, I've blocked it so I can swap tunings without screwing with the floating bridge.
