I liked the high gain of the Bramha but all round the Scary mod to me was the one.

I am thinking I am not digging that cab though, I just do not dig that mid thing the v30s have.

Yeah I got Greeneis but the head I got will come with 6L6s so I'm hoping I'll still dig the tone.

I'm supposed to acquire a Pete modded 1086 in the next few weeks.......I might be selling my Mr. Scary........well maybe dammit...  It's a great module........

I don't have any of the scary.........although it records well with it's biting mids.....I don't even have an MTS amp right now.........I sold/shipped my RM 20 off last week and bought an RM 50 which will be here Friday....I can direct you to one I did with a Pete modded Recto though...

First clip is all Pete Recto........which is a treadplate modded to and beyond Grail specs with Pete's special sauce.......the solo comes half way thru the clip.......

The second clip if you care is a mixture of a Pete Recto and a Fireball......

Thanks.........I wanna do some new stuff........just have no time lately for anything it seems..

Since you're new to the MTS stuff.......one bit of advice.....jump all over the Pete modules or the Friedman modules if you can.....I would love to have one of those friedman Hairy brown eye modded modules......or have him do one when I can afford it.....right now I'm hoping for the Pete 1086 hookup soon..

Almost jumped on a Pete modded XTC. But I had an actual 101b. Loved it for leads but wasn't tight enough for some of the rhythms I liked to play. So I opted for the Mr Scary.

Overall, I liked the Brahma for cleans and Mr. Scary for the dirt. I did not like that Mesa looking one. Great video, thanks for posting.

Based on this video, for the gain noon and above, I liked the Scary module the best... For gain below noon, I liked the Super V and Brahma best.

This is a nice demo that this guy did. Gives a good picture of the sound over most of the crappy camera mic'd demos, and I love that he used different gain settings.

The Scary is real solid.........the Kirk Hamster 3 is even tighter......but it is compressed.....sometimes I love the KH-3.....sometimes I wanna sell it....but that's kind of the way it is with this MTS stuff.....you gotta have multiple modules for the fickleness you experience at times...

Thank God I'm never fickle when it comes to my tone. I'm sure the Mr Scary module is the only one I'll ever buy. :hys:

The Brama is pretty cool to. I guess it's GLs idealized Plexi tone??? More gain than any Plexi I've heard but I think thats typical of the Randall Modules. More gain than the amps they emulate.
