I went and checked...V1 is pink and V2 and 3 are kinda like black and pink and brown...so not sure on "insert adjective here" sound!

I just shove potatoes in the tube sockets. Gives me a real thick sound.

The Pink in V1 sounds AMAZING!
However, I got mine from Meijer. Got a smoke'n deal....

The tone is great yes, but the feel produced by pink in V1 is outstanding!
