Stupid money usually... I have seen a few sell for like $2500 but many are being listed at prices like $3500 and upwards   It seems that Jose mods have shot up in value massively!! Maybe its just because they dont pop up all that often..

If that is Mark tone.....I might give a Mark series a try.

The tone on the openning riff of "Bad Boys" is one of my 5 benchmark tones. Fan-fucking-tastic!

From what I remember, he used the Mark III Coliseum heads, slaved in to an H&H Solid State poweramp and in to Marshall cabs loaded with Greenbacks. And giving credence to tone is in the fingers, or at least in the overall head, mind, ideas, and approach of the guitarist, he used a Jose on the harmonized and lead lines from "Is This Love". Sounds like Sykes to me!

Also, I believe the heads were the 180 watt, non Simul-Class heads as opposed to the 150 watt Simul-Class heads.

He used two Mesa Mark III Coliseum heads hooked together with a slight chorus between them into Mesa 4x12 half-back cabs with the stock speakers in them (I think 2 Mesa Black Shadows and 2 Mesa branded EV's). He then double-tracked the rhythms.

He also used a 100 watt Jose modded Marshall for the solo on "Is This Love". He used an old Les Paul Jr. for the solo in "Straight For the Heart".
