Thought I'd do a rough quickie here... purely freeform with no rhythm section.

I did chug some caffeine, however...

Sounds great to me. It's a difficult solo to pick the notes from, even when listening to the solo track.
 
In hindsight, that's one of my favorite solos of that era.
Wish it wasn't as buried in the mix as it is.
Wonder if Coverdale had a hand in that.......... :cool:

Excellent take. Ya nailed that ascending run.
