Who Are You Ready to Go on Tour With?

I’d turn down almost anyone. I might consider filling in for Eric Wilson for a show or two but only if Bud was with him.

speaking of heros, I mentioned QR. My band PowerTribe opened for them at the Whisky - I got to hang out with Frankie Banali and told him how much I appreciated the band’s music - prolly meant more to me than him but he was really cool and appreciative.
My childhood bud just played the Sunset Strip recently. That would be badass. I heard Franjie was a great guy.

I'm ready to go on tour with my band, Shreddy Mercury. I just need to learn a few more songs, then find a band to learn them to back me up 😒

Living in Canada, and knowing they are going to be doing a show nearby in about 6 weeks, I’m tempted to shoot a message to Enuff Z’Nuff’s management and being like “yo, if you’re in a pinch if your guitar player can’t cross the border, hit me up”

Well if we are just dreaming up a fantasy… Sydney Sweeney has decided to become a singer…she needs a guitarist…my mindless shred noodling excites something deep inside her feminine soul…we wind up hanging out in her tour bus alone…

Or, if I HAVE to be sensible about this, I could jump in to Cheap Trick tomorrow and be ready.

I'm horrible at learning other people's songs.
I start out with good intentions of trying to, but I always wind up coming up with a riff and that's that.

I'm right there with you. I learn the main riff of a song and then I get bored or something.

id say Deftones and Down are the only two bands id consider dropping everything for at this point in my life.

You sound exactly like me. I was going to answer that I feel confident enough to play the main riff in Crazy Train with Ozzy, then leave the stage.

There's this great quote I heard from Jason Becker once that I could so relate to. He said something to the effect of, "Paul Gilbert knows how to play 100 cover songs. I know the opening riffs to 3."
