They are sounding honky as fuck lately. Im diggin G12H30's right now.

What about you?

Regular v30s, stopped a while ago. Mesa's version, still my favorite.

If you want something close but a little different try the creamback 75s

g12h30 70th anniv's rule!!! I am over vintage 30s and have been for 5 or 6 years now.

I rather would have V300. That must sound huge!!!

Big V30 fan here (using 8 of them in combo with EVH5150III 50.

I was so happy when I finally sold my quads of Vintage 30s and G12T-75s. There are much better Celestion speakers out there IMO than those two.

Today I switch between G12-65s, G12M-25 Greenbacks, and G12H-30 Blackbacks & 70th anniversaries.

Love G12 65s. Meh on V30s..until I found a Rivera cab that just kills. 8ohm cab, tried a Bogner but the Rivera is as good if not better. Even with my 2204 it sounds great, just gotta turn the mids down. V30s shine when pushed more than any speaker I've tried. Lower volume 65s, GBs are nice. Mark 2C+ and V30s are a great combination!

Lots of cabs loaded with almost everything from celestion. But the Cameron cabs with H30s get the most play.

78' G12M 25 watt Blackbacks here.

Also have had 1982' Rola G12-80's [not lead 80's] they were pretty awesome.

I had two 4x12's of V30's and for my mid-heavy amps we didn't bond.

Also took over 6 months to sell, couldn't give them away.

I imagine they're good for dropped scooped tones.

not me... i just swapped the T75 in my front loaded Uberkab for V30s to make it all V30s... that cab killlllls now.

I keep changing my mind every few years. Right now I'm digging V30s and using a slight variant (Hellatone 60L). Yesterday I played a few solo runs and actually got hard.

if it doesn't sound good enough in my mesa cabs and V30's, the amp goes to the closet of shame.

In the room/live I like G12-T75s, they sound like ass recorded though.

For recorded tones V30 for rhythm and Greenback for solos ;)

I play vintage 10's....a vintage 30 but 10 inch!
