who has had a blues jr before? How pedal friendly was it? It seems like a nice little amp. Wanted to ask those of you with some mileage on one

I demoed a black tolex floor model (Blues Junior II) and it sounded like crap, potentially from abuse. The new black tolex Blues Junior III is decent with the Eminence speaker, but the tweed has the superior Weber. I had a Texas Red one with a Celestion 30 that was decent, but had been gigged a lot and developed a low buzz that drove me nuts. I had to return it. The tweed is definitely the way to go, though! The spring reverb is very nice too.
