No question, Japan, though repairs are more expensive depending on parts, etc.

You're seriously doing this? Honestly now, you're starting to act childish. You couldn't stick to your guns in the car thread in off-topic, so you had to start a poll here? I also like how you completely ignored European cars.
Easy topic to poll. I only posted it in here to prevent anyone from being swayed by a different thread. Sounds like you already know how this will turn out...and don't like it.

But the facts speak loud and clear. USA cars are vastly inferior to Japanese cars as far as reliablity is concerned, it's not opinion it's fact. And the fact that the entire American automobile industry is in chaos is even more proof. READ the list of Consumer Reports list of used cars to avoid, it's all American cars.
I'll be the first one in line to buy an American car when i feel comfortable knowing it's not going to fall apart after the warranty expires.
And FWIW, i drive a Chevy Uplanded which is a company car. It's an 05 and has 60,000 miles on it. GUESS WHAT? It needs about $1000 worth of work done to the front end.![]()

Why don't you go read the thread and see before posting, then? All the points you mentioned have already been addressed.
Let me put this in "musician" terms so everybody can understand what I'm getting at. Marshall has had models that have been know to catch fire. Does that automatically make all Marshalls unreliable? VHT had some issues with the Sig X. Does that automatically make all VHTs unreliable? Comparing model by model is fine, but to lump the entire company into this is ridiculous. I don't know how many other times I can state this before people understand what I'm getting at.

90,000 miles is the magic number.
My Civic was made an hour away from me in Canada with Canadian employees. The metal used and most of the parts where made in Canada too.Shawn Lutz":2bwpvw55 said:what about Canada? I have a Japanese car (2008 Honda Civi cpe) that was built in Canada![]()
