If you want a big name, I'd go with Fortin.

Or just slap a good OD pedal on it. Done... LOL!![]()
That's what I've done with my JMP... no complaints here.
It's worked for SOOOOO many people we grew up listening to. Why mess with perfection? LOL!![]()

That's not true at all. While you personally may dial it in to be the same as your boosted amps, to say a modded amp will sound like a boosted one is completely false.

may bad, what I meant to say was that if I had an amp modded, I would want it to sound like what my amp sounds boosted - sorry!

One of Doug's Marshalls IS a Cameron. The other was modded by John Suhr. He talks about it on the Whitesnake 2005 DVD. Infact, he mentions the Suhr mod, but not the Cameron. Not sure why. At any rate....

Spot on. I have played mods that are just plain horrible to play, they may sound cool but zero fun.

VX module and the EG3/4 or SL+ and you will be in heaven. The week your playing in Addison is the 1 week I don't have to be there otherwise I would bring my rig for you to try.

Now if it turns out he can't do what i'm looking for then, i'll call Mike Fortin and ship it to him.
or Caswell or Bray or Golub
