I'll have a bit more time this go around so I can do some clean, low-mid gain stuff as well as the higher gain stuff.

I ain't no Pete Thorn or Andy Wood, that's for sure :)

Give me some suggestions on what you'd like to hear or at least how you would like to hear it.

I will keep the talking to a minimum.

I am bringing my Suhr with Aldrich passives installed.

Mark
All I want...is some TIGHT palm muting...like seriously TIGHT palm muting. HEAVY...some harmonics and some sustain into feedback.

Reza,

Your a local. If you want to come down and chug away a bit on video, I will set it up.

Cool Mark. For instance I like the Pete Thorn video on the PT-100 going from clean to wild and all in between, and with different settings and guitars with both single coil and humbuckers.
Something in that vein would be spectacular for me at least!

By the way your playing is insane you have nothing to envy those guys you mention!

Write in #1, a man that many men enjoy listening to.

This guy? He's a hack and a pussy, just look at the ear plugs...
Most definitely a hack and pussy but that's not ear plugs. That is ear wax an hair buildup from being an old fart!!

Any of the three would be great.

Write in:

Pete Thorn
Andy Wood

Those fine men are in other builders camps, we need men that are not under the umbrella of another man.

i was good until i read this comment, i couldnt hold it any longer

uhhh...y'all are wrong

Imagine if this guy was posting here giving tone advice. :D

The REAL funny thing is that you are probably right :scared:

You know who should get a crack at that amp demo, 70strat Ant!

Holy shit the earth would open up if he was plugged into highgain and humbuckers

Most definitely JMR... Or Dave....... Or Mark.

Any of em would do a great job. That said, I could give that amp a good run through myself:)

Oh BTW you forgot to include Pete Thorn.

It ought to be someone who is doing the demo out of love and first hand knowledge of the amp and not some hired gun doing so for a fee. Also, we all know that the ccv can do high gain metal stuff but I am curious to see how it handles other mid gain tones such as vh or gnr , acdc, etc. How about playing some different guitars also and use different eq and settings. I want to hear if the ccv can do the modded marshall thing like his hg jose or aldrich mods. A good well thought out demo can be a major selling point and advertisement for the ccv.

I voted for JMR because he is an absolutely SICK player and a very funny guy, but I can't think of anyone better than Mark Cameron to play through that amp to demo it. Everytime I had Mark do an amp for me or demo the CCV I'd say, "can it do this? can it do that?" and he'd twist some knobs, flip a switch and start playing and I would be ready to throw money at him. That amp matches Mark's playing style so well.

I think Curt hit the nail on the head. To get Mark to do the clip would be the ticket. Set it up like an interview like with Rob's clips on the Tone Merchant stuff, Heck get Rob to be the guy or have some one ask a question. will it do this or that, and have Mark turn a knob or two or flip a switch quickly and produce a small bit of playing that shows the amp does exactly what is asked. It would show the amp as easier to use, and very broad in it's tone coverage. If this is not an option, I think any of the three listed would be good choices.

Just get mark to do the exact same namm 08 demo. thing sells itself.

We will be doing all of that and nobody has more love or first hand knowledge of the CCV than Mark Cameron himself and we will be recording him going all through the amp and he is a fabulous player. Mark Day is one of my best friends in the world (not just a hired gun   ) He truly digs the amp as well. We will do our best to bring some really good demos of the CCV and we will also be recording a bunch of Friedman demos as well and maybe even a AXE II tutorial if we get one in time for the shoot from Cliff.

Isint Jason on the road right now?
How dare you guys talk about Mark's faces :gethim:   He obviously got over himself a long time ago, I like to see Marks vids just to see the face that will accompany the face-melting tones  Your gonna make him all self-conscious
Let the man enjoy his work

Whoever does it, I'd just like to see them explore the amp and all the tones that can be gotten from it. For all the CCV clips I've heard, I only know that it sounds exactly one way.

Man, your sigs are always the best. That was Balboni before the Yanks shipped him to KC. He wasn't more than an overhyped bum.
