For info, I bought a trans-ebony (nice M2M finish) Axcess Custom for $4K two years ago in a store in Cali. It was a new model, advertised as used, I guess because they were selling below MAP price. $7.3K is almost double that !

new Gibson LP Custom Axcess with FR are listed at $5799; which is $1500 less than this purple metallic...for perspective. In white, these are $6,599, so this purple is only $700 more.

two years ago was before tariffs...all those Chinese components in Gibson's cost more now.

In context, it's not much more vs the standard black or white LP Custom Axcess with FR. I posted the prices for context...this purple is only $700 more than the common white, which is less than 10% of its price.

edit: If it was around the same price as the black or white, I'd be considering it

Hmmm.... I can't argue with that - but I think of funk more than neo-soul. Matteus Asato and the like come to mind for me when Neo-Soul is mentioned.
