Yea, I was gonna say if your not talking about a preamp tube or crappy wall voltage issues and the amps' actually really consistent, then your talkin about your Mood and staying inspired an that aint got a DAMN thing to do with your gear, bro....

We been playing alot lately. Every Weekend for the last 6 months. Long jam sessions.
I got burned out. Its fun....but losing the drive. Took this last weekend off completely.
Didnt touch a guitar or nothing. Sat around and chilled. Felt ..........GREAT!!
Actually thinking about next weekends jam session and getting anxious.
Just needed some time off. A break from anything music.
Felt good!
yea, I think the inspiration's the hardest damn thing to capture an hold on to, day after day... Hopefully in a lifetime we learn an grow and expand skills an our reasons we play and theyre very often not the exact same reasons you started playing in the first place... I find reminding myself why I play today and staying focued is the hardest thing, when it's been a long day at work an I just wanna crash on the couch instead of ripping it up on a particular day, thats where some discipline hopefully comes into play... And I possess none, which is why, years later, I still only know 3 licks....
My amp isn't quite doing it for me and then other days, like today, it sounds exactly they way I want it to? I either need 10 amps or an Axe FX or something....
