Just noticed some comments on Kerry King and hating his BC Rich - on top of that I had people contact me from Guitar Idol and said just because I played the BC Rich, they almost didn't even click on my video because people with those guitars usually can't play. Wonder if I lost any votes just because I play a BC Rich? Anyway, why the hate, do they just look bad? Actually, the Warlock is ergonomically one of the most comfortable guitars I've played. So I'm just curious because I truly didn't realize people didn't like them so much  .

I am sure the Idol people contacting you were kids, no clue about the history of BC Rich

Would LOVE an 80s Gunslinger

Your problem is that you're actually taking the comments seriously. Youtube and Myspace video comments are always filled with morons.

I love BC Rich guitars. at least the styling. I've never really had any experience with good ones or cheapos, but I love the way they look. Warlocks are one of my favorite looking guitars out there.

Yeah, I always thought they looked cool - I wasn't sure if it was my "type" of guitar, but it works! I do feel a little wierd pulling it out when I'm around the really high end guitar playing guys   !

the coolest finish ever (this isn't even up for debate here people) is on a BC Rich guitar

I love my Gunslinger, just a great guitar all around. I've also had NJ models that were really solid too. I'd love a USA, but now they're getting a little pricey. Color me a BC Rich fan.

they look pretty cool, but the prices for the custom shop are through the roof.

Two of my favorite guitars ever, are the Mockingbird and the Cadillac. I love those guitars.

I'm afraid of BC Rich guitars because I don't worship the devil. :D

I have no beef with them. Unfortunately, the gawdy headstock on many of them just kill it for me. I kind of feel like if I ever played live with one and wasn't playing Dying Fetus or Cattle Decapitation it would look ridiculous. However, I would love to have a really nice Bich one day. I've never played one, but I've always liked those.

I picked up a Bich NJ Classic in a trade. Korean made neck-through. The tuners suck but other than that I love it! I have always loved odd shaped guitars though.

is that the album cover of Abigail? That is by far the best guitar ever made.

My first new good guitar was an '84 US Stealth. It was stolen back in '88...I would do about anything to get it back. Here's two crappy pics from around '85:

I also had a shorthorn Mockingbird...sometime around '84:

Bottom line, the old US BC Rich's were great guitars. I haven't played a new one so I can't comment on those.

This is my American BC Rich Custom Spider (aka Widow) bass that I had made to my specs in 1993 (EMG PJ active pickups, badass bridge, Schaller tuners, rosewood fretboard and headstock face, neck thru). It's a great playing and sounding bass, to me it just says metal (This is the same model played by Blackie Lawless and DD Verni). I'm not playing metal anymore so it is for sale. I've been posting it on craigslist locally only, I can't find a box big enough to ship it!

I've loved BC Richs since I was a young kid. I've played many of the custom shop models both newer and old. I don't care what anyone says, they make some of the best guitars out there. If I have a beef about my beloved Mockingbird Archtop Supreme it's that it's pretty heavy. If I hit the lottery tomorrow I would order about 20 handmade BC Richs. I love them!!!

Rupe I have always loved the look of the Stealth. I've never played one. Did the neck dive of did it just kinda level off, even with the floor?

By the way... it looked/looks cool as hell!!!!!!!
