Just took a quick walk through GC. I though Fender reduced their prices? Looks to me like they jacked them back up. A regular S1 strat was over $1400 when they were $1100. A Mahoganey bodied model was $999 and now $1500. They can suck it for those prices.

You can buy a Suhr Pro series for $1700, and anywhere close to the same price there's nothing to discuss, you get the Suhr. I used to stick up for Fender since you could get a decent Strat for a reasonable price, but this is just stupid. A few Strats i picked up had a shitty action, jagged frets sticking off the fretboard, loose neckpockets, galloping Gerty necks, etc, etc.

Nice job Fender with your price hikes. Guess you didn't get the memo about the fucking recession you nitwits. I'm sure John Suhr will take care of those who want to spend their money on a great guitar.

The A's look pretty good so far IMO. They have such young starting pitchers, but they've been pretty impressive so far.
