So I've decided to turn this strat into poor mans Suhr Classic. I want to install an SSV V70 V70

On the Suhr guitars do they have two volumes and one tone pot? I think I read that the humbucker sees a 500k pot and the singles see a 250k and one tone? If that's true I really don't like that setup. I'd like one volume for all the pickups

Also, this silent circuit seems to be a bit confusing. I was hoping to just buy the three pickups and wire them in place of what's already there in the HSS strat I already have. I know certain dimarzio singles are 'stacked' and are already silent. I take that the V70's aren't like this?

Any advice would be appreciated

The typical Suhr Classic wiring is master volume and two tone controls, but these are custom guitars after all and I´m sure he also does what you describe there. I suppose he also might use something similar to what Tom Anderson calls vintage voicing, where every pickup sees its right value on the same pot. Otherwise I´d just go with 500K, just like almost every H/S/S guitar out there.

The Suhr singles are true singlecoils, yes, not stacked or otherwise humcancelling. The silent circuit is an add-on to remove noise from true singlecoils like the V70.

Thanks, I guess I'm thinking too much on this. I guess I'll just wire it up just as it is wired up in the guitar already. Now I'm wondering if Fender has a silent circuit. I haven't even played this guitar through my gig rig yet, I'm just thinking down the road

Fender doesn´t have a silent circuit, but Suhr sells it in the form of a pickguard.
