Splawns are great amps, for sure, but I don't understand the weirdly cult-ish thing with some of these splawn guys

Every one of these high gain amps has their benefits and drawbacks, and it's horses for courses

But it always is the same handful of splawn guys saying "my dad can beat up your dad" on these posts ?

In all seriousness though, good amps, I can see how it would scratch the itch for some folks. But God damn. Someone makes a FS post or has some sort of non-splawn question, and without fail

Side note, an agressive boost like a dirty tree is what gets my MCii to the metal tones I want

Hard to tell, he has reviews including buying or selling fairly high end pieces. The bummer is it's been 3 full days it could have been listed. He did ask a specific question about the amp updates too.

As far as boosting the MC II so far i have tried my Tumnu. Koko v1 mid boost and SD-1. The Tumnus wins by a long shot with both channels!
