Question for those that have used MC II's...

I was fooling around with my amp yesterday and noticed that when on the Rhythm channel there is a fairly predictable increase in gain when using the Rhythm Gain knob....When moving in the range of around 3 o'clock to Max, however, there is a significant of woofiness and almost rolling off of tone (almost more like switching to the Normal channel of a 4-hole plexi) as opposed to an increase of gain like on the rest of the dial.

is that normal or what i should expect to be experiencing on that channel in that gain range?

Same here. So I think it is "works as designed". Don't know why it is that way tough...
