ESP Phoenix II WGS green beret greenback clones only 1 cab hooked up

Nice taste in amps  I've got the same pair! Sounds great, what cabs are those?

Aftershock cabs they light up. I bought them cheap from some emo band that went kemper.

JB 59. Im starting to like JB paired with right amp and guitar. I always would change them out but sounds good here

Damn, that sounds killer. Been wanting an MC (and a Firebird for that matter lol) for awhile, apparently I need to pull the trigger. Great tone and playing!

I liked that alot. Those WGS green berets sound like one of the better GB clones out there.

Damn that sounds great. I love the guitar. My main guitar is the same thing. White Phoenix ii, perfect guitar in my opinion. I even have the same wide neoprene Levy's strap. Good stuff

Nice! Haven't had much playing time on Wizard amps, but that sounds really aggressive and punchy. How do you like it compared to the Soldano? Based on that clip, the response on the Wizard seems much more immediate than what you'd get on the SLO.

I almost bought an ESP Phoenix a couple weeks ago. I drove for hours to Guitar Center Hollywood to pick it up. I was so pumped. When I got there, some dude was in the used gear room playing it...crap. So I slowly backed away and didn't say a word to him. I crept around the store for 15 minutes waiting for him to set it down so I could snatch it up. The employees were looking at me funny so I had to tell them my plan. They were all pulling for me. Another 5 - 10 minutes and this dude is still noodling around on MY guitar. The employees were basically giving me the play by play. "He's playing it through the Recto now. Now he's plugged into the Diezel" they would tell me. Long story short, he bought it and I was red faced pissed. That was the 3rd guitar in 1 week that I missed out on. Now I keep my eye out for a Phoenix and when i saw your post I had to check it out...whudya know...IT WAS YOU!!!

Hahaha. I'm happy to see it went to a good home, and I'm glad that you removed that sticker also. Enjoy!

I wasn't sure if you were for real when you said you drove for hours to come get this. Trust me Ive been in your shoes before. This is the second time Ive owned one of these so I had to make sure I bonded as I forgot why I sold the last one. There was actually another one of these for sale a month or 2 ago unless it the same one returned. I came close to buying that one but I passed, then this one appeared and I took it as a sign. It didn't have a sticker. Of course I need a black one now. I will keep my eyes open for you. Wondering if the LTD's are any good?

Wizard more gain more full than soldano at lower volumes. Clean is amazing on wizard. I do love the crunch channel of soldano I wish wizard had similar channel. You can use the clean side of wizard for crunch but doesnt quite get there so I use it as dedicated clean. Soldano very middy and have to turn up to fill it out and it cuts like no other in un mic'd situations. Wizard records very nice. Both great and very different. If you want more immediate with slo use a pedal on crunch and its faster

They are, I sold my SLO for an MC50 years back and for a brief time had them simultaneously, the SLO I'd owned for 8 years or so. It was a killer but different amp altogether.
