This is with the master between zero and one.. its about the lowest you can go and still practice as night etc... most believe the volume is either off or at stadium decibels... it sounds unbelievable with the master at 9 am!

This amp doesn't even compare to how loud an early Splawn Pro Stock got at minimum volume, which is retardedly loud

I'm playing a partscaster strat I made with an American body and MIM neck... it has a single pearly gates humbucker in the bridge and vintage style bent saddles...lol can you say twang and high end, but I love it.

Damn dude, I am so close to pulling the trigger on one of these. Great sound. Would love to ask you some questions about it. I'm tied between this and the Suhr SL-68

Isn't the master more useable now in the II version?
Sounds killer. Nice and aggressive. Much more so in the II. Wide range of taper.

Absolutely, shoot me a pm with any questions you have... I will say that the Wiz will do everything the SL68 can do in the clean channel alone for almost the same price. I think you would love the modern classic!

That sounds great man! I had an older MC, but it didn't have all the bells and whistles the new ones have. That sounds way more aggressive than mine straight in, I really like it! The one I owned was already one of my all time favorites, I would still have it if circumstances were different. Have you tried an MCII yet for comparison?

Ah yes, the Wonderful Wizard of tone. Love it.

Filmed via helmet cam?.... ;)

Thanks for the kind replies guys!

Erock- I have not played the MC II so I'm not sure of the differences between them.... I suspect not much except for the clean channel, which has its own gain knob on the II version.

Rlord- lol it does look like a helmet cam! its my girlfriend making the recording with her phone

Thanks, man that was ripping. Killer playing. Makes me miss my mc, but Im never going to sound that good.

I played a 50w MC2 yesterday, awesome amp! The MV works great but the amps sound best with the masters at 3 or 4. Also, I think you can jump the loop and use that to control volume too. Ch 1 was great, clean to plexi tones. If you hit it with an overdrive or boost it pushes into great overdrive tones. Ch 2 has a great feel under the fingers, aggressive and punchy.
