I played a 50w MC2 yesterday, awesome amp! The MV works great but the amps sound best with the masters at 3 or 4. Also, I think you can jump the loop and use that to control volume too. Ch 1 was great, clean to plexi tones. If you hit it with an overdrive or boost it pushes into great overdrive tones. Ch 2 has a great feel under the fingers, aggressive and punchy.
I owned the 50 as well. Long story but I had it next to the 100. The 50 was actually a little sweeter but the 100 had more punch not that anyone would need it. For a live setting I would probably go with the 50. You don't have to jump the loop to use it as a second master volume for cut or boost if you are not using effects. All you need to do is engage it after you set your levels. It works great.

I actually played this amp yesterday as well (just before bwgintegra got there). Amp was SICK! The Rhythm channel was where it was at for me. Master around 4 and gain around 6 gave that great edge of break up tone. Hit the boost and you're in AC/DC land no friggin problem. Sounded massive with my LP. The bottom was tight, but not overly tight. Better than a classic Marshall, but not a modern feel. The Lead channel picked up from there and just nailed that boosted JCM800 type thing. Sounded FAN-FRIGGIN-TASTIC. Had that Marshall grind, but more articulate. Not overly compressed like some of the Modded Marshall stuff out there right now too. I wouldn't say it's classic sounding, but it covers that ground more than well enough. Seriously considering purchasing one. A few more amps I want to check out, but this is the front runner. Only con of this amp is the price tag

I just bought a pair of Wizard Rock 20 speakers from a forum member to try out. I'm using vintage 30's right now...ive heard that wizards are voiced for low efficiency speakers like the greenback so I thought I would try out something different. I cant imagine using greenbacks with these heads without completely farting out yet Ive heard guys doing it??? maybe I just play too loud lol

anyway, will report back on the rock 20's once installed!
