I've owned several of each...

I like the PV Wolf best for sound (the pickups are amazing, and the neck is cool)...
I like the EBMM Axis best for overall quality...
I liked the EVH Wolf the least as the neck feels different and way too narrow at the nut (didn't like the pups a bunch).

If I had to buy another... I'd go for the EBMM Axis. Best of the bunch in the end.

EVH style is Charvel or even a hockey stick kramer baretta, all others are cash in models imo.................................

The Axis SS kicked my PRS Custom 22 to backup duties...I want more.

Here is a neck comparison I did awhile back.

" I have a pv wolfgang special waiting on new strings, an axis, dial calipers and too much time on my hands. Always thought the wolfgang had a much chunkier neck but flatter radius. Turns out it does towards the nut. I think the squared edges and slightly higher frets increase this perception. Both comfortable and I dig them both.

peavey- width nut- 1.630
12- 2.031
22- 2.236
depth 1- .905
12- .940

EBMM- width nut- 1.630
12- 2.000
22- 2.295
depth 1- .832
12- .940

Note that the EBMM feel and effective width are less than indicated because of the heavy rolled fret and board edges. My Peavey has almost square edges on the board. Yea I know I'm lame."
