Worst guitar solo ever????

I don't dislike the band or even the song but the solo is obnoxious and just fucking painful to listen to. I think it was written this way intentionally as I know the guy was against traditional guitar solos. At least I hope it was on purpose. Seems like an attempt at being artsy and "anti-guitar hero" like something Kurt Cobain would've done but without the finesse.

Really nasty! The last bend is enough to ruin my entire day.

neil young, just about most solos he plays, rockin the free world, etc.....horrible vibrato, timing, skill.

have to agree here. southern man is another example of worst solos

this is pretty bad but these guys can play and I always got a vibe that this song and the solo was a middle finger to grunge/cobain

other than that pearl jam and soundgarden have some pretty horrible ones.....

JerEvil is right about Zep. Plenty of the lead work is HORRID. How did EVH describe it... 'sounds like a child who has a broken wrist' or something close to that.
