Hi im getting ready to order my first Suhr and I wanted to get some other opinions on the combinations of these woods:

I was interested in getting a Modern Koa top and headstock with a cocobolo neck and fingerboard. Im worried that this could look funky. I know cocolobo has a dark brownish reddish color and the koa is lighter and more natural looking... Do you think these colors would clash? Any thoughts?

Also Im gonna get a mahogany back so maybe it would flow better with a mahogany neck as well and just cocobolo fingerboard.

Thanks

P.S. Does surh have access to or use black limba wood for bodies, im thinking it would compliment the cocobolo better than koa? not sure......

I think they have some White Limba now, but not Black. I saw a Cocobola/Koa combo there and it was sweet.

cool, do you remember if the entire neck was cocobolo? or just the fingerboard?
