You're not a real man till you've been banned fro TGP 
I used to go to TGP for +10 years
And have long discussions about music theory, and help newbies
Suddenly one day I was banned, for making a tongue in cheek to a guy, who showed to be David Torn, but what did I know, he kept stalking my posts on a subject with wierd insinuations about experience
(Jeff Beck, David Bowie)
But basically just for disagreeing with him I got banned permanently, for ever.
Got friends with David Torn and he told me he was very surprised it happened
Later he was expelled himself

One and a half year after, same thing, tongue in cheek to a guy who just suddenly popped up in a discussion and "called me out" (idiot) told me to have dignity
I told him in PM that if he wanted to put in his signature that he played with Pavarotti to atleast have the dignity to spell it right.
I was a joke with a smiley, I was banned for 6 month by a mod making a long traumatised speech about how "i treat people" that for good reasons I could not respond to. What an idiot
Conclusion : The mods are highly incompetent on TGP, and some people just sit there, with a huge amount of butthurt in the shadows and get angry over things that are not there.
No mention of the good things you do for +10 years to make it a good
Just shit and paranoid judgemental mods, highly ungratifying
Havent been back since and that's 2 years ago
Got banned +13 years ago permanently for life from HRI for saying that the war against Iraq was about resources not freedom, ...or something like that. Guess i was right, but I'm still banned
Alot of mods have no idea how to mod, and should not have that kind responsibility
In some way all those Ill managed forums are a disaster for peoples conception of how a society should work
It's the wild west, mods are biased, scared to be unpopular, sometimes they don't even see trolling when it happens
People sometimes are allowed gang up and manipulate, slander, condescend to newbies, because the mods are ignorants
I have a 1 or 2 forums with great moderation, where I've been hanging for 15 years or so
Where the rules are clear, and mods are good = less hassle with trolls and rats with butthurt reporting your posts for a misunderstanding
