Hoekstra is a beast and Ethan is no slouch either. Great band he has put together. His vox still sound fantastic. Personally though, i like the idea of classic/modern but to do this i would have gotten rid of that cocked wah pushed mids signature sound... it is dated no matter what anyone thinks. I would go see this band play live though. Looks like he has gone a little easier on the god lyrics for this collaborative project.
