This is pretty awesome. Seems like a great song to learn to tap with.

Yeah if you can get passed the impossibility of playing the song, it's a great learning experience!

Just goes to show you that small hands/fingers are no excuse.......girl's got skills!

Some folks just have some natural talent mixed with great focus/discipline.

Basically they don't waste too much time on Forums

I dunno about you but if I see pretty much anyone sit down with a Vigier guitar and put it in classical position, I have to figure I am about to be impressed.

Anyone else reminded of Nuno when they listen to this?

ok...
her technique is flawless...
vibrato awesome...
so...???
would anybody care about any of these guitarists before youtube...????
We all see guitarists with great technique...every day...so what...????
You wanted to sell your guitars for what...????
I bet the majority of this kind of guitarists have no band and never even put a strap on their guitars...
and when they do they look like the guy who demos suhr guitars...
wears the strap like a bow-tie...

world is full of these guys(and girls)...the mojority of touring musicians have the 1/4 of her technique...
does it matter...???

when I was younger I thought it was cool...as I grow older I find it boring...

Yeah I agree...watching that makes me think wow she can play...good for her. Does it make me want to go back to the woodshed? no...i'm pretty happy with what I do

Its the same with modern athletes...they are supposedly bigger stronger faster but does that make them "better"?...give me the old tough hard asses any day

Why does it matter if someone has ever performed live or played in a band etc..

What matters is the music. Does the music have an impact.

When I hear people brag about playing live shows it makes me think that they are doing it for attention and not the music.
Same can be said about someone on youtube "shredding"

Mad respect for anyone trying to make the band thing work out and this chick is awesome

And everything you're saying has been said a million times before in threads like this. And so what! Why can't you just applaud her skills and call it a day. Let her worry about her own career. This IS a guitar forum after all.

The cool thing is.....this teenage girl can do the crazy advanced technical stuff, plus she can easily do the average stuff that all the touring dudes you speak of with 1/4 of her technique can only manage to do

are you sure about that? Jason Becker was Outrageously talented but couldn't nail the blues vibe DLR wanted on some songs on little ain't enough so DLR got steve hunter to play on the album as well. It had nothing to do with the ALS either

I think that highlights perfectly what I said. Well executed guitar playing, excellent composition, but is very "metal" blues, which is what DLR didn't want on some of the songs

Criticism is always easy. What is hard, is to invest all that it needs (plus some talent bonus of course) to achieve such a level. For THAT, hat off.
