I just hope this isnt it. Says the album is for release later this year... thats whats been said for like the past 3 years. Good on him to keep going. There are still lots of people that want to hear what he does next!

yeah, didn’t care for that at all. I guess your big guitar tone is my indistinct mud. Sounded like a “metal” preset on any modeler combo in guitar center. Lyrics a 13 year old who just discovered a book would write, tepid melody and....well who gives a shit about the rest. Sykes was fantastic and a decent songwriter a ways back. Don’t know what this was.

Sounds like Dave Mustaine helped him co-write those lyrics.

Playing was good, tone was decent. It is what it is.

Maybe we can all pray for him to burry the hatchet with Coverdale and do a reunion... but after hearing Coverdale live, DC's voice is pretty much shot. So it's this or nothing.

Apparently Sykes has spent his time at Prager U by way of 4chan for some Stupid is as stupid does lyrics. Music was uninspired and lacked anything innumerable others could/would/will do.
i just lost all interest/respect for Sykes of the present/future.
