That forces you with the scallop to pick so damn light.

I agree...it wasn't informative at all.![]()

he seemed pretty upbeat and willing to talk here, i give him props for that. he obviously knows his gear and i like that he was willing to talk to her, and not talk down to her. i appreciate also, that he seems pretty tolerant in this video of questions that he probably has gotten a trillion times since 198?whatever!
anyone else notice the BLS shirt on the rack behind his axes?
all in all, a good watch.

POOSAY! lol I take back what I said about his vibrato.. ok o it is still incredible but light ass strings account for a lot of that. Also interesting to see the use of 250 k pots... strats are damn harsh with 500's in most cases.

On stage, no less. Playing the kind of stuff he pulls off. With the wall of marshalls. It's actually beyond incredible when you think about it...
99.9% probably couldn't even play a single lick in tune in that scenario with that guitar.
Dude, have you ever played a guitar setup like that? If anything, it shows just how much touch, finesse and control the guy has. I played a buddy's YJM strat with 9's in Eb and it took me awhile to get used to it because it was so easy to over bend, make things go sharp etc etc.
Poosay you say? not even close...
