Oh man... the Gold Lions are nice in there...it sort of reminds me of an EL34, but with a fuller low end...the low mids and bass stay together a little better, with less compression. Somewhat of a 6550 vibe in terms of clarity, but the high end is not as abrasive - (I'd say: smooth and silky) and the feel does not have the hardness of a 6550 or KT88...
